Why do rural tourism in Menorca?
Menorca is the easternmost island of the Balearic Islands. Its capital is Maó and there are only 96,000 Menorcans registered on the island. The Menorcan countryside is made up of cereal fields, vineyards, wild olive forests with numerous routes perfect for hiking, such as the forests of Barranc d'Algendar, or another obligatory visit is the Natural Park of s'Albufera des Grau, one of the most important wetlands in southern Europe. But if Menorca stands out for anything, it is for its coastline, with more than 70 beaches and coves, many of them unspoilt and very little crowded.
Another of Menorca's strong points are its impressive cliffs with numerous lighthouses that at night give a magical touch with the reflection of the light in the sea.
