Tenerife: the largest island of the Canary Islands

Tenerife, due to its large size, has many activities and things to do during a family holiday. You can visit the Teide National Park, go to the biggest water park in Europe, enjoy its great gastronomy and relax on its black volcanic sand beaches. Another of the island's plus points, and the reason why it is an incredible choice for a holiday in a villa with a private pool, is the climate. The annual temperature ranges from 17 degrees Celsius in January to a high of 27 degrees Celsius in August.

Where to choose your accommodation? North or south

There are two dichotomies between north and south on the island. While the north is more humid and cooler, with very green areas, the south tends to be very dry and hotter. It is up to you to choose one area or the other. In the north there tends to be more Spanish tourism and in the south, more international tourists.

What are the must-sees?

The tourist centre in the north is Puerto de la Cruz and if you are in that area you should visit the botanical gardens and the Loro Parque.
